Every product coming out from Tsukayu factory is an art, involves many hours of fine workmanship for hand laiding fiberglass, trimming, painting, sanding, polishing for just the fiberglass parts, then lining carpet on the inside, accurately install the hinges, locks, CD player, speakers.... to complete the main part of our products. How to make your own plug
There are many ways to make your plug, you may use whatever material you are familiar with, but we recommend using material that is good for shaping and product prototyping, like bondo, car body filler, wood, etc, because they are very easy for sanding, modifying and reshaping, unless you do 3D modeling in computer first so that you can do all the modification in computer. Your plug submitted to Tsukayu can be a finshed plug with smooth surface or it may come with rough surface, we will then do the finishing for you in our factory. Surface finishing is sometimes more difficult and time consuming than shaping, we have good equipments, and very experienced mold makers in Tsukayu factory to ensure your plug will be finished professionally and smoothly before making the real mold for production. The most important things of your plug submitted to Tsuakyu are the shapes, the contour, and some important parts that has to be accurate for your application and cannot be sanded by the factory. Making your plug doesn't involve difficult fiberglass techniques, you can easily make your own plug and than ship it to us, we will do all the rest for you!

Tsukayu has many years of experience in shipping valueable products to customers, we know how to protect painted products while minimizing shipping cost by optimizing the size and weight of the package. From the begining of the project, we already take packaging as part of consideration. For example, we use strong fiberglass box for shipping some of our products to customers. Although the cost of the fiberglass packing is more expensive than using cart box, we save a lot of shipping cost because of its smaller size, and minimizing shipping damage a lot. More importantly, if your products involves many different parts and procedures, we can do the whole product for you inside Tsukayu factory so your products coming out from Tsukayu factory will be completed and ready to be resend to your customers. That means, you will save a lot of shipping cost for transportation of different parts to another locations for assembly. During the process of designing your products, Tsukayu will surely help you with our expeience by giving you many suggestions, it will definitely save your long term cost, make your product mature in a shorter time, and increase the chance to success for your products.
Costs
Mold cost - Depend on size, complexity, number of pieces of mold, workmenship involved in making the plug. And also the market of your products. If we think your product is good and will sell a lot, we will tend to charge you a lower mold cost or offer you a rebate. For example, if you want us to manufacture a fiberglass hard saddlebags like ours products, the mold charge for the whole set, 4 pieces of products(2 lids and 2 body), more than 10 pieces of molds(closed mold), we will only charge you around $3000 for making a new mold for your products!
Rebate
Your mold cost will be rebated after certain quantity of the same products is manufactured, send us email at sales@tsukayu.com with product dimensions and thichness(if you know how much thickness you need), we will give you a quick estimated quotation.
Manufacturing cost - It depends on mainly two things, our laber cost (number of hours involved in making one product) and material cost (type of material required, weight, thickness,etc). Normally, all manufacturing processes are done inside Tsuakyu factory, that means, we don't need to pay third party factory and we can effectively control quality of your product and maintain a very competitive manufacturing cost, we are sure that our cost is the most competitive in the world for top quality fiberglass products.
Shipping cost - you can either arrange shipment by yourselves or request us to arrange shipments for you, we will pass the shipping cost to you or include the shipping cost in the bill for simplicity. Tsukayu is a big customer of some express companies and forwarders, our discount rate is more than 50%, so you can enjoy our discount rate from shipping companies if you choose Tsukayu service. More importantly, if your products involves many different parts and procedures, we can do the whole product for you inside Tsukayu factory, that means, you will save a lot of shipping cost for transportation of different parts to another locations for assembly. Shipping cost will be very low if you choose sea freight, and depends on quantity.
Minimum Order Quantity(MOQ) - Normally we don't have any MOQ requirement, but quantity will affect unit price. For example, you may even order just one piece of your product, manufacturing cost will be higher, but shipping cost is a more important concern, because shipping cost per box is definitely much more expensive if compared with shipping more boxes.
